We arrived back last Sunday and have been so busy. We are kicking ourselves for not writing blog entries while we were away...too late now!
So, where to start? The first "chapter" of our trip started in London. Dan has been to London so many times, he usually leaves the planning up to me. I have not done a lot of the ultra touristy things in London..so thats what we did! First stop, The London Eye. The views were amazing. I always forget how flat London is and how "small" it is. London is a great city b/c a lot of the main attractions are within walking distance.

Next stop, a Thames River boat tour. We walked the south bank (my fav area in all of London) and ate lunch at a great Italian restaurant until we got to a boat stop and hopped on. We took the boat all the way to Greenwich where the Prime Meridian is. We spent some time in the museum and had a cup of coffee before hopping on the boat back to The Eye.
That night we had dinner with 2 of Dan's cousins, Jess and Rachel and Rachel's husband David and of course Grannie and Grandad. We had a lovely visit! It was freezing in London. We were happy to be on our way to a warm destination....
