On our way back to PG, we had an upsetting phone call from Dad Scott that there was a fire in Westbank. The latest news is that 2 of Dan's Aunts and Uncles have lost their homes, the mill lost some inventory and logs and Dan's Grandparent's home was scorched. Although the news is devastating and we still can't fully wrap our heads around it, we are praising God for his protection. No one was hurt. We are so thankful the mill has been saved. Not only is it the family business and employs many family members, but also many residents of the Okanagan. I don't think we will be able to understand it all until we see the damage that has been done. The fires are still raging, so please continue to pray.
