Okanagan

We just came back from a mini vacation down to Vernon and Westbank. Dan's Aunt and Uncle own a gorgeous "cabin" on Kalamalka Lake and offered it to us for a few days. We had amazing weather, but unfortunately didn't spend as much time as we wanted to there as we ended up buying an SUV while we were there and that took up a lot of our time. It was so nice to relax and have pretty much nothing to do other than hang out. Naomi put her feet in the lake, but it was a little cold for her to go in.
The reason for the trip down though was Dan's cousins wedding. Kirsten was married in the Gorman's brand new home (replacing the one that burned down last summer). It was a beautiful wedding and it was so nice for us to show off Naomi to everyone on Dan's side. Everyone made it to the wedding!
Things have changed since having Naomi...everything takes a LOT longer. We had a list of things we wanted to do, but we ran out of time. We did get to the Bliss Cafe (a favorite of ours) and my parents drove up to see us (Naomi:) and had brunch wit them at The Blind Angler. Naomi was a great little traveller and we enjoyed our new vehicle on the drive home.
