Working on the maternity ward at the hospital has been a great experience so far. The staff have been so friendly and helpful, and its always nice to run into our midwife and have mini side appointments. :) I've been learning a ton and should be done my practicum next week! The best perk is having two great friends who are labour and delivery nurses who during their down time let me hear our baby's heartbeat and today I got to see the babe again on the ultrasound! :) Baby was hanging out, still transverse, and sucking on its thumb. Cute!
