Saturday was a beautiful day...and it was a gorgeous night to play softball. We were up by one in the 2nd inning...and it was all downhill from there. Dan was accidentaly hit in the face by a friend throwing a ball during warm up and he got quite a cut and abrasions on his upper and lower lip. I was just glad his teeth were ok! Dan was a trooper and went up to bat, made it to third by sliding onto the base when...he rolled his right ankle (NOT the ankle he rolled back in November). and cut open his leg. He hobbled off the field and decided to have someone run for him (who got home!). Poor Dan needed to get home (our home!) and RICE his ankle. So, almost 6 months after his first "accident"...here we are again! Please pray for fast healing as his ankle is very swollen and sore. Dan is such a good patient, but very down about having to miss out on his outdoor soccer game tomorrow...and maybe longer?!
