Spelling Bee

My dream finally came true...kinda. As a student in elementary school, I excelled in spelling. I always wanted to be in a spelling bee. Well, my school never had one, but the school I work at decided to participate in the CanWest CanSpell National Spelling Bee! I was asked to be the judge of the very important event. :) We had eleven grade 7 and 8 participants. It was actually quite intense! The winner from our school now moves on to regionals held here in PG...and then the winner of that moves on to a competition in Ottawa and then onto Washington DC...serious stuff!
