One of our favorite ways to spend time is looking at the exhibits at the British Museum. There was a new exhibit on the South Pacific area of the world which was interesting to us since a lot of the artifacts came from the Cook Islands (where we went on our honeymoon)!
Rosetta Stone
Dan and the mummies-we love looking at all the mummies. Some of the mummies have been x-rayed and the radiographs are displayed. In many of them the major organs have been removed and a liquid resin fills half of their empty brain cavity.
A body that was found self mummified...it still had tufts of hair!
