We loved this little spot for a few days while we camped. We spent a lot of time at the ocean- beach combing, throwing rocks into the water, unearthing crabs, playing with kelp, making sand castles...
We had two hot, sunny days and then a day of rain. It hadn't rained in 80 days previously! The kids barely noticed the rain. We spent a bit of the day at Butterfly World and then visited a sand castle competition. One of the participants sculpted Naomi a little kitty cat just for her. :) The girls enjoyed playing in the tent, the banana slugs, ocean play and going to the Nature House for a talk on "How Not to Die in the Woods". They sat through the entire 75 minute presentation. Impressive! Definitely missing this spot. Retirement on The Island is a plan... :)
