Kootenays

We packed up and headed south to the Kootenays last week. Dan has been down in that area for work and wanted to show us around. The drive down was gorgeous. We stopped at Jasper, Lake Louise and Radium before reaching Cranbrook. We really loved the Okanagan feel minus the hustle and bustle of Kelowna. We ended up totally falling in love with Invermere...it reminded us of a mini Whistler on Okanagan Lake. We plan to be back next summer and enjoy its beauty...with a little work week for Dan mixed in. A highlight was the Kicking Horse coffee shop.Their coffee is already a favorite in our home, and the coffee shop didn't disappoint.
