Kristina's kms to date (since April 26th): 291.23km
Days until the Bill Cram Memorial Ride: 27
Length of the Memorial Ride: 115km
Leah and I will be participating in the Memorial Ride...although our goal is to ride to Hixon (approx. 50km's) as I am part of a wedding that day.
Bill Cram was the Associate Pastor at our church, Westwood. He started this ride as an outreach opportunity with only one person. Participation blossomed in the next couple of years. In 1998 Bill died in a tragic cycling accident on Highway 97. Over a decade later cyclists continue to gather for this annual ride in his memory.
