Happy Birthday Joel!

So, October 1st was Joel's 4th birthday! We were invited (along with Mark, Auntie Ang, Max, Auntie Lori, Hannah and Tyson, and Grandma Nelson) to his train party. Games were played including musical mats and a train puzzle....opened presents...and lots of food! Dan and I made Joel a train cake (joel really likes trains:) and it turned out to be a success... and super yummy I might add. Hard to believe our little nephew is 4! Anyways, it was fun and yet very exhausting. Joel is in love with his crane he got from grandma. We got him a MEC orange down vest and some flash cards...at first he thought the vest was a life jacket...but has since turned into a high vis vest. He puts it on along with his fireman hat, and kisses mommy...and "goes to work" on his crane. Too cute!
